Come join us for Caucus 2024!
If you ever wanted to have a bigger voice in your government, come join us for Caucus! Take part in selecting candidates or voice your opinion on important issues. Maybe you’re curious about the political process and want to learn more.
Going to caucus matters. What could be more American than getting together with your neighbors to talk about the issues that matter to you and electing someone to represent your neighborhood to groups that choose candidates? It’s an essential part of civic engagement and political participation. You can have a direct impact on the democratic process and the direction of your community and country.
Now is the time to be a part of the grassroots of the Republican Party!
All active registered Republican voters can join their local, neighborhood Caucus on Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 7:00 pm. The Chaffee County Caucus will be held in BV at the Darren Patterson Christian Academy gymnasium, 518 S San Juan Avenue, Buena Vista, CO 81211.
Check in will begin at 6:30 pm.
No need to RSVP, but please join us! All registered Chaffee County Republicans are welcome!
Lincoln Day Dinner
The Lincoln Day dinner is an annual celebration of the Republican Party and a fundraising event for
the Chaffee County Republican Central Committee Party. The event is named after Abraham
Lincoln, the first elected president of the Republican Party who helped found and shape the party,
and is famous for having issued the Emancipation Proclamation which freed all slaves.
The Chaffee County Republican Central Committee will be hosting its annual Lincoln Day Dinner Saturday February 24th 2024 at Mt. Princeton Hot Springs. Social Hour starts at 5 pm, with Dinner at 6.
In addition to a yummy dinner and informative speakers, we are excited to be announcing some fun events: a wine pull, silent auction, and a raffle. We also will have a raffle drawn that night with a couple firearms and a “Chaffee Diamond” (must see!) A limited number of tickets will be sold, and are available now for the raffle.
Mt Princeton has kindly offered 20% off their room rates for the night of the Lincoln Day Dinner! Contact us for more information. Book sooner than later, as there is limited availability. Note: You MUST call the front desk vs making a reservation online to get the discount.
Tickets are $100 each and are now available. Tickets will also be available at the CCRC meeting in person this coming Tuesday 1/16, 6 pm at the Poncha Springs Town Hall, 330 Burnett in Poncha Springs. You can also email me, Jennifer Barker, at Secretary@chaffecogop.org and I can email you a form. Tickets may also be purchased from any of our executive committee members. Note: There are no paper tickets. All tickets will be online this year, and we will fill out a form with you if we see you in person.

If you would like to purchase your ticket via PalPal, please pay the ticket amount and mail return the completed form to the address below with a notation paid via PayPal and include a copy of the receipt. The PayPal receiver is treasurer@chaffeecogop.org. Please note additional information needed if using PayPal. It is listed there. Thanks!
